Taipei, Taiwan, 18th March 2020 - Sercomm Corporation (TWSE: 5388), a leading manufacturer of telecom and broadband equipment today announced financial results for the fourth quarter and full year 2019. 

 

Consolidated net sales for 2019 were reported as NT$31.8 billion, which represents a 5% decrease over NT$33.39 billion for year 2018. Operating profit for 2019 were NT$987 million, which represents a 10% year-over-year increase over NT$900 million for 2018. Net income attributable to owners of parent for 2019 were NT$1.03 billion, which also represents a 28% increase compared to NT$808 million for 2018.  Based on 246 million weighted average shares, earnings per share (EPS) for year 2019 were reported as NT$4.21.

 

On consolidated basis, net sales for the fourth quarter of year 2019 were NT$9.56 billion, which represents a 6% increase compared to NT$9.06 billion for the third quarter of year 2019.  Operating profit for 4Q’19 were NT$244 million, which represents a 22% quarter-over-quarter decrease over NT$312 million for 3Q’19.  Net income attributable to owners of parent for 4Q’19 were NT$351 million, which also represents a 21% increase compared to NT$290 million for 3Q’19.  Based on 246 million weighted average shares, EPS were reported as NT$1.43 for the 4th quarter of year 2019.
