Taipei, Taiwan, 27th March 2016 - Sercomm Corporation (TWSE: 5388), a leading manufacturer of telecom and broadband equipment, today announced financial results for the fourth quarter and full year 2016. 

 

On consolidated basis, net sales for 2016 were reported as NT$36.7 billion, which represents a 5% increase over NT$35.01 billion for year 2015. Operating profit for 2016 were NT$1.77 billion, which represents a 6% year-over-year increase over NT$1.67 billion for 2015.  Net income attributable to owners of parent for 2016 were NT$1.46 billion, which also represents a 12% increase compared to NT$1.31 billion for 2015.  Based on 243 million weighted average shares, earnings per share (EPS) for year 2016 were reported as NT$6.02.

 

Consolidated net sales for the fourth quarter of year 2016 were NT$9.14 billion, which represents a 6% decrease compared to NT$9.69 billion for the fourth quarter of year 2015.  Operating profit for 4Q’16 were NT$474 million, which represents a 2% year-over-year decrease over NT$485 million for 4Q’15.  Net income attributable to owners of parent for 4Q’16 were NT$415 million, which also represents a 13% increase compared to NT$366 million for 4Q’15.  Based on 243 million weighted average shares, EPS were reported as NT$1.7 for the 4th quarter of year 2016.
