Taipei, Taiwan, 9th November 2023 - Sercomm Corporation (TWSE: 5388), a leading manufacturer of telecom and broadband equipment today announced financial results for the third quarter of year 2023.

 

Consolidated net sales for the third quarter of year 2023 were NT$15.63 billion, which represents a 14.5% year-over-year decrease compared to NT$18.28 billion for 3Q 2022. Operating profit for 3Q’23 was $858 million, which represents a 25 % year-over-year increase over NT$688 million for the third quarter of year 2022. Net income attributable to owners of parent for 3Q’23 was NT$656 million, which represents a 24 % increase compared to NT$528 million for the 3Q 2022.  Based on 260 million weighted average shares, EPS were reported as NT$2.53 for the third quarter of year 2023. 

 

On consolidated basis, net sales for the first three quarters of year 2023 were reported as NT$46.95 billion, which represents a 2 % year-over-year increase over NT$46.17 billion for the first three quarters of year 2022.  Operating profit for the first quarters were NT$2,225 million, which represents a 37 % year-over-year increase over NT$1,628 million for the first three quarters of year 2022. Net income attributable to owners of parent for the first three quarters of 2023 were NT$1,688 million, which represents a 29 % increase compared to NT$1,306 million for the same period of last year. Based on 258 million weighted average shares, earnings per share (EPS) for the first three quarters of year 2023 were reported as NT$6.55.
