Taipei, Taiwan, 9th November 2016 - Sercomm Corporation (TWSE: 5388), a leading manufacturer of telecom and broadband equipments today announced financial results for the third quarter of year 2016. 

 

On consolidated basis, net sales from January to September of year 2016 were reported as NT$27.56 billion, which represents a 9% increase over NT$25.32 billion for the first three quarters of 2015.  Operating profit for the first three quarters of 2016 were NT$1.3 billion, which represents a 10% year-over-year increase over NT$1.18 billion for the same period last year.  Net income attributable to owners of parent from January to September of year 2016 were NT$1,047 million, which also represents a 12% increase compared to NT$939 million for the same period last year.  Based on 243 million weighted average shares, earnings per share (EPS) for the first three quarters of year 2016 were reported as NT$4.32.

 

Consolidated net sales for the third quarter of year 2016 were NT$9.49 billion, which represents a 2% increase compared to NT$9.27 billion for 2Q’16.  Operating profit for 3Q’16 were NT$521 million, which represents a 22% quarter-over-quarter increase over NT$428 million for the second quarter of year 2016.  Net income attributable to owners of parent for 3Q’16 were NT$419 million, which also represents a 21% increase compared to NT$346 million for the 2Q 2016.  Based on 243 million weighted average shares, EPS were reported as NT$1.72 for the 3rd quarter of year 2016.
